Ah, 32 weeks. I’m almost 33 weeks now. I’ve grown a lot since my last pregnancy update. Baby is now head down and causing a lot of pain, but I am managing.
The SI joint pain is pretty unbearable at night and I have to take frequent breaks when cleaning because he gets so low that it causes a lot of problems. I am currently measuring 3 weeks ahead, which is not surprising. All of my babies have measured ahead. Overall, baby is healthy and I’m hanging in there, so things are good.
I’m still drinking my pregnancy tea. When I’m around 36 weeks I will start sitting on my exercise ball. I really believe this is what helped me get my last baby is such a good position.
My goal over the next few weeks is to get all of my baby stuff together and figure out what I need to buy him. It won’t be much, thankfully. We will probably just need diapers and maybe a few newborn supplies. I have slowly started gathering things. I took a few pictures of the things that I have gathered that are upstairs right now.
My nursing pillow is good to go! This pillow is from Walmart. It’s not a boppy, but I can use boppy covers on it. This thing has been invaluable the first few months of nursing!
I have my Uddercover nursing cover, one swaddle blanket, and my Moby wrap all ready to go!
We have an entire drawer full of baby blankets and crib sheets all ready for him!
This Fisher Price Rock-n-Play sleeper is one new thing we are trying this time. I have never used it with my other babies, but everyone I talk to raves about this thing. We will see if he likes it!
We also have a drawer with baby bibs, washcloths, and shoes. I have a couple of hats, and one baby mitten, but I think all of my other newborn stuff is packed away with the baby clothes. We will be going through baby clothes, soon!
Other things we have already that aren’t pictured:
- Diaper bags
- Car seat
- Baby swing
- Play mat
- Breast pump
Things I know I need to get:
- Nursing supplies: nipple cream, breast pads
- Possibly pacifiers
- Coming home outfit
- Possibly some more onesies/baby gowns
- Baby socks
- Baby book
- High chair
The funny thing about being pregnant with number 4. I know what I actually use and what is a waste. My babies are with me all the time, so I have no use for a lot of things like monitors, mobiles, and other fancy gadgets. We do have a crib in our bedroom. It is currently a toddler bed for our two-year-old, but he rarely uses it. He either sleeps with us or on the bottom bunk in the boys’ room. We will convert it back to a crib for Isaac and see if he will sleep in it, but I am a big co-sleeper, so it might not get much use!
Here’s to the last trimester! We are getting close to the finish line!
