Are you looking for a way to encourage your young reader? Sometimes our kids need a boost in order to focus. I know I have a few children who enjoy setting goals and keeping track of their progress in tangible ways. One way that I’m helping my kids set reading goals and keep track of them is with my new Reading Superstar Kit. This kit includes a printable reading certificate, book log, and book report. I’m so excited to share it with you today!

Printable Reading Award Certificates
This printable kit includes a reading award certificate that you can fill out and give to your child once he reaches his goal. This certificate would look great in your end of year portfolio!

Printable Book Log for Kids
Set a reading goal with your kids and then keep track of it with your book log. This bright and colorful book log features slots for 10 books. Your child can fill in the book title, author, date the book was completed, and your child has the option to rate the book, as well.
I am so excited to give my kids a goal to read 10 books from now through the summer and then watch them check off each book as they read it. I love talking with them about what they are reading, and it’s even more fun when it’s a book I’ve read before so we can have some great conversations.

Printable Book Report
If you would like your child to complete a book report on a certain book, they can fill in the same information they would for the book log, and then complete a summary, write about their favorite character and why, their favorite part of the story, and whether or not they would recommend the book to their friends.
