I’ve partnered with Hyland’s Earache Drops to tell you my must-haves for a beach bag! One of my family’s favorite summer activities is spending a day at the lake! Between swimming, looking for shells, playing games, and having a picnic, our lake days are some of the most fun days we can have. One of the things you have to do when you have a big family is pack your beach bag! I have to make sure we have all the essentials for a day of fun. If you’re wondering what to pack in your beach bag, I’ve got you covered!

What To Pack in Your Beach Bag for a Day at the Lake

Here are my must-haves for a day at the lake!

  • Beach towel – Roll it to fit in your beach bag.
  • Flip flops – Who doesn’t need flip flops for the beach?
  • Sunglasses – Keep the sun out of your eyes with a favorite pair of sunglasses.
  • A good book – If you’re relaxing by the water, I recommend getting lost in a good book.
  • Snack bars – Pack snacks for everyone. Trail mix or granola bars are a great option.
  • Water bottle – I have to keep a water bottle on hand at all times. I especially like the kind you can freeze before adding your water to keep it extra cold.
  • Sunscreen – Protect your skin from burns with sunscreen.
  • Aloe vera gel – If you do get burned, aloe vera gel is wonderful for soothing your skin.
  • Hyland’s Earache Drops – Getting rid of earaches from a long day in the lake can’t get any easier!

We use Hyland’s Earache Drops to help relieve ear pain. My third child is prone to earaches and I love that Hyland’s Earache Drops are made of a homeopathically prepared blend of botanicals and minerals.

They help relieve pain, irritability and sleeplessness from ear aches that occur due to non-chlorinated water.

My kids absolutely love exploring the lake, and I love taking them down there and introducing them to all the wonderful wildlife and natural scenery. I really encourage you to get your kids out and go exploring, too!
