This week I decided to share with you my favorite homemaking helps that have helped me figure out how to be a better homemaker and may help you, too!
First I want to tell you about The Homemaker’s Mentor. Right now you can subscribe to their email list and receive free homemaking lessons each week. So far I have only gotten their lesson on laundry, but I really enjoyed it and I look forward to receiving more lessons!

Next, I want to tell you about a DVD that I plan to purchase to help me out with my homemaking skills. Homemaking 101 looks to be an encouraging resource for learning the basics of efficiently managing a home. It is said that, “Homemaking 101 covers cleaning, cooking, budgeting, bill paying, child training, scheduling, blessing your husband, organizing, and so much more! This film will be a delight to the Christian wife who desires nothing more than to be a joyful keeper at home, all for the glory of God!” I need all the help and tips I can get to hone my homemaking skills!

Looking for a pretty apron to wear while you work? Flirty Aprons has the cutest aprons I have ever seen! Aprons just make me feel more like a homemaker. Hubs picked out this little black and red number for me!
The first book on homemaking that I ever bought was Real Food on a Real Budget by Stephanie Langford. I adore her homemaking books and how they have given me ideas on how to healthily improve my homemaking. She is currently running a sale on her eBooks. You can get the books for 50% off with the code SUMMER50. This ends July 22nd, so hurry up if you want to use it!
Are you looking for ways to get out of debt? From Debtor to Better taught us what debt is and how to get out of it the fastest way possible. We even learned how to come up with a budget that will work for your family. My husband and I learned about how to pay down our debt from this book.
I love 20 Minute Meals. Putting a healthy meal on the table when you’re busy with the littles is hard! Sometimes 20 minutes is all the time I have to prepare something! I mean, the baby is crying in his high chair and the other children just want to “help.” I don’t have time for a drawn out three course meal. Preparing something healthy and delicious sure beats throwing a pre-made, processed food from the freezer into the oven!

31 Days to Clean is the first eBook I ever read. I needed some help and motivation for keeping my house clean. This book did it for me! It motivated me to deep clean my house in just 1 month with a new task each day! I highly recommend it for those who struggle with the cleaning aspect of homemaking!
So, those are my favorite resources to help me out in homemaking. Do you want to know my favorite resource? Asking the women in my life when I need advice. Whether it’s for a favorite recipe or how to get a stain out of my clothes, the people who have more experience are the best resources!
