- In my life this week…
I have started on spring cleaning and decluttering! We have been visiting with family and enjoying the weather when it’s nice! I even took all three kids to the park by myself. I also got brave enough to venture out with all three kids to the post office and grocery store. It went better than I thought!
Since I haven’t posted in so long I will catch you up on what we’ve been doing the last two months. We visited the library regularly, did some coloring, and finished up our preschool train unit. We have put puzzles together and painted with water colors. Bug has taken an interest in drawing and drew his favorite pink car.
- Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…
The library! We made tomato hats after story time! We also visited cousins within the last month.
- Things I’m working on…
I am starting to plan our homeschool for next year and really like My Father’s World curriculum. Has anyone used it? Bug is interested in writing so we have started working with that. He loves the letter L!
- I’m cooking…
Mr. Simple recently bought me a Kitchenaid mixer so we’ve been trying it out! So far we have made homemade pizza and homemade cinnamon rolls.
- I’m praying for…
My husband and his unit in Afghanistan, as well as all of our deployed soldiers.

Oh, I’m jealous of your KitchenAid! LOL It must make cooking and baking a bit easier! Your pizza looks great! Sounds like a great week with the littles. Mine are all growing up! :sniff sniff:
Hi Jessy! Yes, the Kitchenaid makes baking sooo much easier! I’m a terrible baker. I think hubby got it for me to make things easier and so I could get some practice in before he gets home! I know he’s going to want some treats!
Praying for your husband and his unit right now too. So sorry you have to be without him, and bless you for this sacrifice!. Have a blessed weekend. (Visiting from ihomeschool bloghop).
Thank you, Christine, for the prayers! They mean so much to us!
This is really good to know about your kitchen. It is like a great week you spent with your kids.
