Our Simple Fall Porch

I have always wanted a little front porch. Our new house doesn’t have the wrap-around porch of my dreams, but it has a great space that I was probably a little too eager to decorate. My fall porch is simple, but I like it. Remember, I didn’t have a ton of money to go all-out with the space, but I still wanted to create an inviting space.
In my frugal fall decorating post I suggested buying one new item every year to build your collection. I bought this pre-made wreath last year on sale at Wal-Mart. Sure, you can make your own wreath, but this was actually cheaper and I honestly don’t have time to craft like I used to. I did buy the wooden “B.” I covered it with Modge Podge and glitter and added a ribbon to tie it to my wreath for a personalized touch.
Meet Black Kitty. Bug picked her out at Hobby Lobby and we thought she would be cute on our porch!
I have to have mums during the fall. I just adore them! These are actually more orange than they look. I adore the red ones, too!
My Harvest Welcome sign makes me happy. The little scarecrows are just sooo cute!
Finally you can see the little flower pot my welcome sign is in. It already had dirt, so I added fall foliage to the top and my little pumpkins and gourds!
So, what’s missing? Pumpkins! We haven’t gone to the pumpkin patch yet, but when we do we will add a couple of pumpkins to our fall porch!
