Mouse Themed Preschool Book List

I have started prepping a fun mouse theme for my preschooler, and I just knew I had to come up with a mouse themed preschool book list. Since I love sharing my preschool book lists with you, I put together this one to accompany my mouse themed preschool lesson plan.

Mouse Themed Preschool Book List

First up is Mouse Soup by Arnold Lobel. In this cute book children get to read about how Mouse avoids becoming mouse soup for Weasel by telling him four different stories.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is a beloved children’s book by Laura Numeroff. What happens when you give a mouse a cookie? You get to go on an adventure through your house!

If You Take a Mouse to the Movies is also by Laura Numeroff and follows the same Mouse  as we discover what happens when you take a mouse out to the movies!

Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh is a great children’s book to help with colors and color mixing.

Mouse’s First Christmas by Lauren Thompson is about a mouse who discovers all new sights and smells. He doesn’t know anything about these new discoveries until Santa comes! There are several more books in this series.

Mouse Tales by Arnold Lobel is a cute book about a Papa Mouse who tells his seven little mouse boys seven bedtime stories.

City Mouse, Country Mouse is a classic tale about two mouse cousins who switch lives and find out the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

The Best Mouse Cookie is another book by Laura Numeroff. We follow our beloved Mouse friend as he makes cookies!
