The Best Free Homeschool Sites and Resources

Picture this. Every morning I sit my four children around our family table for school time. Baby goes in his high chair, my three year old sits next to him, and my five and seven year olds sit close to me. The bulk of our curriculum comes from My Father’s World, but I need resources to keep my younger ones occupied while I teach the more difficult concepts to my older kids.
I’ve bought a lot of fun supplies in the past. Don’t get me started on how quickly our wedgits end up spread all around the house. Sometimes I just need free homeschool resources to help me get through our homeschool lessons. I thought I would make a list of the best free homeschool sites I use in case you are looking for free resources, too!
Free Homeschool Resource Sites
These are all resources that I personally use in our homeschool. I hope you find them useful, too!
Educents – While Educents does have a lot of paid items at great prices, they also have TONS of freebies. Just type FREE in the search bar and you will find a variety of awesome downloads to choose from.
Free Homeschool Deals – This is my go-to website when I’m looking for homeschool freebies. Not only does this site offer a ton of freebies, but there is also lots of great homeschool encouragement here. Jamerill is a homeschooling mama of many just like me and she always encourages me.
Homeschool Giveaways – There are lots of freebies on this website. I just happened to grab some Dr. Seuss copywork pages this past week!
Homeschool Creations – I love Homeschool Creations for finding freebies! There is a plethora of information and freebies for parents with children in preschool and kindergarten.
This Reading Mama – This Reading Mama rocks for resources if you are teaching a child to read. We use the Trace and Try Handwriting Pages in our homeschool. My daughter LOVES them!
1+1+1=1 – I’ve been using this site ever since I started homeschooling. I learned all about the concept of Tot Schooling from Carisa. I loved using her printables with my tots!
In All You Do – There’s lots and lots of free homeschool printables on Annette’s site. I really love her holiday themed printables.
Homeschool Share – Homeschool Share is my go-to resource for lapbooks. We don’t make a lot of lapbooks, but when we do I always use free resources.
File Folder Fun – I use File Folder Fun to create our file folder games. I probably should write a post soon about how I use those in our homeschool, but the kids really enjoy doing their games!
Starfall – Starfall is one of my favorite websites for early learning for my kiddos. There are plenty of free games available to keep your little one occupied.
Notebooking Pages – I LOVE Notebooking Pages free resource center.

Another great free site is XtraMath. It’s like having a friend sit down and do flash cards with my kids for a few minutes every day, and it frees me up to be doing something else at the same time.
