Welcome to our 2019 Fall Home Decor Tour! Every year we share a large family house tour and show y’all our fall decor. Things aren’t too different this year, but we do have a few more pieces. The kids and I always get excited to put out all of our fall decor right around September 1st.  It is still 90 degrees here, but we like to do what we can to usher in the fall spirit and hopefully some cooler weather!

Fall Home Decor Ideas

I posted last week about our front porch fall decor, so I’m going to start this tour right in our entryway. My husband made me this bookshelf several years ago and we painted it blue. We have our fox and crow from Hobby Lobby and our cute little hedgehog. I also have some old books and a farmhouse sign that I keep out year round along with a small cinnamon broom.

On top of the shelf I have a stand with various little pumpkins and candles. Dollar General has some really nice farmhouse fall decor. We picked up the Autumn Blessings acorn from there.

I have my own little corner with my mother’s morning basket. I put out this painted wine glass with some fall flowers on my end table here.

My favorite piece on our mantle is this cute pumpkin truck. This was a new find from Dollar General this year. It’s so cute! I also have a fall leaf garland and wooden leaves from the Target Dollar Spot on the mantle.

The other corner in our living room holds a very used bookshelf with a variety of our homeschool books. My wingback chairs were a Facebook Marketplace score and I bought these slipcovers from Wayfair, but these particular slipcovers are see through. I’m planning to add another layer of fabric underneath it to help with that.

One trick I am using in my decor this year is to use things I already have. There are a lot of trendy pillows and blankets on sale right now, but I’ve gathered up some blankets we already own in brown colors and I’m using those in our living room. I’m also keeping out a lot of my blue decor that I use year round.

Simple Fall Decor

This area in my living room is one of my most favorite places to decorate. I bought the windmill from Hobby Lobby and then several pieces came from Hobby Lobby, Target, or are pieces I have had for years.

My kitchen is decorated pretty minimally. I have a few spots with some decor and of course, my Mrs. Meyer’s dish soap. I’m loving the acorn spice scent. Grove Collaborative is my favorite place to get my cleaning products.

Finally, we have this little corner in our kitchen with this cute Grateful pumpkin from the Dollar General and my candlestick.
