July Homeschool Favorites Planning Edition

It’s time for another homeschool favorites! I have a few of my favorite planning resources to share with you! Right now I am doing my homeschool planning. Thankfully, my two oldest children will be using My Father’s World Adventures, so I don’t have to do a lot of planning for them. I am completely planning my son’s homeschool preschool curriculum. The bones of my homeschool planner

I am using my homeschool mom binder printables as the bones of my homeschool planner. I am using the monthly pages, the lesson planning pages, the menu planning pages, and all of the other homeschool planning page components for my homeschool planner.

My Homeschool Preschool Section

I have an entire section dedicated to my homeschool preschool planning. Right now, I have my Charlotte Mason book list in this section. I will be using my Charlotte Mason preschool book list to choose read-alouds for my preschooler. 

Charlotte Mason Habits List

I have the free ebook Smooth and Easy Days from Simply Charlotte Mason. I really wanted to have a list of habits readily accessible, so I printed the list from that book to include in my binder. From that list I will choose one habit to focus on with my preschooler every six weeks. 

For example, we will work on cleanliness for six weeks. He will learn cleanliness by taking on new tasks. I’m going to teach him to make his bed, make sure he knows how to comb his hair, we will talk about the importance of washing hands and cleaning up after ourselves when we eat, etc. 

I also found a list for Boys Ages 2-4 from piganddac.com

I really liked this list to help with understanding how to help my boys with self control and how to help them regulate their emotions. It’s a great reminder on those frustrating days. Boys and girls really do learn differently, and I have found that my daughter has been more academically inclined than my son. This list is a great help when it comes to teaching little boys!
