As a mom of seven, I feel it is so important to teach kids how to do household chores. Not only should both older kids and younger kids learn how to do chores, but they really should actively participate in keeping up with daily tasks and be a participating member of the household. One of the easiest ways to give kids a sense of responsibility is to use a chore chart for kids printable. In this post I’m going to show you some great chore chart options to help motivate your kids and keep them on track!

Best Printable Chore Charts

I have created an entire chore pack that is a great way to make a chore list and help kids stay on track with their simple tasks. The chore pack includes options for daily chores, weekly chores, and even an age-appropriate chore list to help you decide what that particular family member is capable of completing based on age.

This chore pack is designed with bright colors and can be laminated so that your child can check off completed chores with dry erase markers. My kids get really excited when I make them a new chore chart, and it’s even more fun when their chores are incentivized.

Daily Chore Chart

Our daily chore chart comes in three different fun colors, pink, green, and purple. You can print one chore chart for your child, write in your child’s name, and then fill in all of the chores for your child to complete on a daily basis. This simple chore chart motivates kids with its bright colors. I intentionally made this blank chore chart so you can customize it with specific tasks tailored to your child.

Printable Weekly Chore Chart

This particular chore pack also includes weekly chores that can be written in for each day of the week and then checked off as you complete tasks. This weekly chore chart is a perfect solution for a family chore chart. You can post it in a central location so everyone can see what needs to be completed each day.

Age-Appropriate Chores

Learn how our large family handles age appropriate chores and allowance with this printable chore list chart!

This chore pack also includes a list of age-appropriate chores. If you need chore ideas for your child, this is a great reference printable per age group. Even toddlers love having their own chores and this printable will help you determine what your child may be capable of completing.

I do believe it is important for kids to be involved with daily responsibilities at an early age. Of course, young children will need you to come alongside them before they are capable of managing their own chore chart!

Chore Cards

Chore Cards for Kids

Are your older children ready for more responsibility? Our chore cards are a great tool to help kids learn the steps to clean a particular room. We have 8 chore cards for 8 different rooms. There is a pre-filled set and a blank set that you can fill in with a list of chores to be completed in a particular room.

Toddler Chore Charts

For kids who aren’t reading yet, but want to be included, this kids responsibility chart is such a fun chore chart! It’s made with pictures and you laminate it and use velcro dots so kids can move their chores to the completed section. My toddler loves moving the little squares and gets such a sense of accomplishment out of it!

Rewards Chart

Do your kids need a chore chart system that is incentivized? One way to help children stay on top of their chores is to provide a reward of some sort. I really like the idea of these Reward Bucks. This Reward Chart Bundle looks really cool, too, and like a great way to make your own rewards for your kids!
