I had a lot of fun explaining to my kids what a cornucopia is and why it is an important symbol of Thanksgiving. This is another fun printable to give to the kids to entertain them while you’re preparing Thanksgiving dinner. You may want to print my Turkey color by number, too.

All three of my kids were excited to get started coloring this cornucopia. It was so cute to see the differences in their coloring abilities because of age, and just to cherish this time with them. My six year old is coloring in the lines now and very particular about getting the colors right. My four year old is still a bit messy, but tried her best to get the colors correct, and my two year old just took a blue crayon to the whole page. Afterwards they were all so proud and each child put their cornucopia on the refrigerator!
