Around the holidays we always slow down our curriculum and take a week or so to study the upcoming holiday. We did this in early fall with our pumpkin unit study and we are preparing to do the same for Thanksgiving. Since it will probably be after Thanksgiving that I am able to write the post for our actual Thanksgiving unit study, I have decided to go ahead and compile some great Thanksgiving unit study resources from around the web in case you are planning to do the same.
We are planning to do a few fun crafts, create a lapbook, and of course, read some great books on Thanksgiving. I am excited to teach my kids the meaning of Thanksgiving and to find out what they are thankful for! These resources are geared toward Pre-K and early elementary.
