Coping with Breastfeeding Guilt

During my first pregnancy I devoured all of the information I could find about pregnancy, birth, and caring for a newborn. I joined due date clubs online, read all of the books on pregnancy out there, and perused magazines weekly. From all of these sources I learned that breastfeeding was the best way to feed a baby. I wanted to do it.
To prepare myself for breastfeeding, I attended a breastfeeding class at the hospital where I was to deliver my son. I learned that this particular hospital only had one lactation consultant and no other breastfeeding resources. After the class, I continued to learn about breastfeeding by watching videos and reading even more.
