It’s a brand new year! I cannot believe how fast 2019 just flew by. I look around at my kids and where we are now and I am just so very thankful. As a homeschool mom, I’m always on the lookout for fun things we can incorporate into our school day, so I decided to create this cute New Year’s Printable worksheet page for kids. I love that the kids will get to reflect on last year and make goals for this year!
Our Mid-Year Homeschool Update
While I’m getting ready to have the kids reflect on their year, I’ve been thinking a lot about the progress we have made with our homeschool so far. We are about mid-way through our homeschool year and it’s going really well! We are still using My Father’s World Creation to the Greeks for Bible and History, The Good and the Beautiful for most everything else, and The Homeschool Garden for morning time.
I recently did an update and you can watch the full video below.
New Year Printable Activities for Kids
If you’re looking for an activity to do with your kids or students to ring in the New Year, this printable Year-End review sheet is perfect. I used fun fonts, but kept it black and white so students can jazz it up however they like.
There’s a section for kids to reflect on the previous year and list their favorite book, movie, family memory, thing they learned, and place they went.
There’s also a section for the New Year and for kids to set goals for books they want to read, what they want to learn, do, and try.
I think this is an especially good exercise for kids to begin learning how to set appropriate goals, plus it’s just a lot of fun!

New Year’s Books for Kids
If you’re looking for more fun things to do with your kids this New Year’s, here are some of our favorite books! My kids love for me to read to them, so finding some amazing books to read on New Year’s Eve is so fun for us!
How are you ringing in the New Year?
We kept our celebration low key this year, but I still can’t wait to see what my kids’ goals are this year!
