Thank you Moose Toys for sponsoring this post. Get crafty with your kiddo and make “ooniements” with Oonies by Moose Toys this holiday season!

I have a very crafty little girl. Sis absolutely loves to make things. When we got the opportunity to try Oonies, I knew she would be over the moon excited! Since it’s December, we decided we would use our Oonies to make some “ooniements.” This turned into a fun and easy Christmas craft for kids, and all of my older kids got involved in making creations! Not only was this a fun craft, but it was also a neat sensory tool! I even enjoyed playing along with the kids! You’ll want to add these to your list of Christmas activities this year!

A Unique Christmas Craft for Kids – Oonies

Let’s talk about what Oonies are. Oonies by Moose Toys are like little inflatable balloons.

Oonies in the box

Here’s what an Oonie looks like before it’s inflated. This is called an Oonie pellet.

You use a little machine to inflate them. The child places an Oonie in the inflator.

And then blows it up!

Oonies stick together, and the starter kit comes with “deco bits” which are used to make creations!

Kids can get creative and make whatever they want!

We got creative and made some Christmas Oonies! First up, is this cute little elf. We used Christmas gel stickers to help some of our creations come together. Here’s our little elf.

Here is our Rudolph and Clarice. Aren’t they cute?

Here’s a closer look at Rudolph. We tried to put a scarf on him!

Of course, we had to make a snowman! I think he turned out pretty cute, too.

My kids seriously had so much fun putting together their Oonies. They have actually gotten them out a few more times just to craft on their own. It’s been neat to see what they come up with. I keep hearing, “Mama, look at this! Mama, see what I made!” I enjoy that they aren’t messy!
