Math has never been my subject, and it’s been one that I have really had to dig deep and research some different methods to figure out how to teach it to my kids. Math games

Math games are so much fun. They get kids doing math without having to think much about them. Here are some of our favorites!

Math Dice – This fun mental math game is great for kids ages six and up. This game involves rolling the dice and using them to add or subtract to equal the number on the target die!

Balance Beans – When you balance the beans, you’re actually balancing an equation!

This super fun game is fast paced and will help your learners practice all math facts!

Bring Math To Life

Let your child help you figure out the best price on items at the grocery store, calculate the total of an item if a coupon is used, or let your child help you calculate the family budget.

Money is a pretty big part of life. One way you can help your child is by giving an allowance and letting him purchase things on his own. 

Ask your child math related questions. Let your child divide his sandwich in half. Have him figure out how many M&Ms each child would get if he split the package with his two siblings. Let her figure out how many eggs to add to the recipe when you double it. There are a variety of ways to bring math to life in everyday situations.
