Homeschool planners are great, but have you ever heard of reverse planning? That is kind of how I plan our homeschool year now after 11 years. I start with a general plan and idea of what I want to do, then I track what we actually do. I’ve found that no matter how well I plan, things always fall through the cracks and plans definitely change.
Instead of making lesson plans in a homeschool planner, I track everything in my yearly homeschool portfolio. This year I decided to make these beautiful homeschool record keeping printables for myself and you!
Homeschool Record Keeping Printables

Our homeschool portfolio printables are beautifully designed to help you track all of your important homeschool happenings. I like to use the portfolio to write down how I want our loop schedule to function, how our week should look, as well as track all of our curriculum and big picture goals and ideas.

Here’s what we have included in our homeschool record keeping printables.

- Homeschool Portfolio Cover Page
- Important Dates
- Websites and Logins
- Contacts
- Week at a Glance

Keep track of all your important dates and contacts, as well as any important websites and the login information for each. I also track how a typical week at a glance should look for our homeschool year.

- Loop Schedule
- Month at a Glance
- Planning our Year Divider Page
- Morning Time Themes
- Field Trips and Vacations
- Monthly Goal Planner (3 Pages)
- Goal Tracker

I made several planning pages. These aren’t necessarily meant to be used as a daily lesson planner, but they will help you wrap your head around everything you are planning for the year.

We have a loop schedule page, which is great for planning all of your looping subjects, a month at a glance page, a place to plan your morning time themes, a page for your field trip and vacation planning, a monthly goal planner, and an overall goal tracker that can be printed multiple times for different children and different goals.

- Curriculum Planning Divider Page
- Curriculum Tracker (2 Pages)
- Record Keeping Divider Page
- Assignment Tracker
- Reading Tracker
- Grade Tracker
- Service Tracker
I like to track what books and curriculum I am using for each of my children, so that’s where my curriculum tracker pages come in handy. You can also track books read, assignments completed, grades, and service hours.

- Notes Divider Page
- Notes Pages (6)
Finally, I have several gorgeous notes pages for you to choose from. You can use these in anyway you wish! You can also print as many copies as you need!

I choose to keep these homeschool portfolio printables in a large three ring binder (a lilac binder pairs perfectly!) I also keep several fun planning pens on hand, as well as highlighters.
