  • In my life this week…

I’ve been plugging along trying to maintain some sort of schedule for the kiddos. Both of my older kids had a little stomach bug earlier this week. That was not fun! I did get to visit with one of my best friends and her new baby this week.

  • In our homeschool this week…

We made Valentines for Daddy’s care package. I’m working with Bug on counting using the counting bears and Sis worked on some puzzles.

We also did lots of open-ended art projects and we switched out our calendar to February! Yay for a new month! We stayed home from the library due to sickness, but we did visit with Nana and Papa for some bicycle riding! The kids also helped me bake some banana raisin bread.

Of course, we played outside when the weather permitted and the kids felt good, too.

  • My favorite thing this week was…

Getting new books in the mail! We are filling up the kids library with beautiful literature, and I got several books for myself!

I’m currently reading A Charlotte Mason Companion and I am in love with this method of homeschooling!

  • My kiddos favorite thing this week was…

Getting to ride bikes!

  • Things I’m working on…

Still trying to get into a good routine. I also wish I could work a workout into my day, but it is hard!

  • I’m grateful for…

My beautiful children. They keep me busy and get me through the day.

  • I’m praying for…

Lots of things and lots of people. Still praying for my husband and his unit.

  • A photo, video, link, or quote to share (silly, serious or both!)…

Gotta share my littlest!

  1. Hi! I just found your blog through the Homeschool Mothers Journal. Nice to see your cute family!

I love Andreola’s Charlotte Mason book as well. We’re enjoying our CM homeschooling a lot.
