Our Week in Review 01-18-2013

• In my life this week…

I’m still adjusting to life as a “single” mama because of this deployment. Things get easier every day, but I am so looking forward to seeing my husband again!

• In our homeschool this week…

We started a new reading program! It has a lot of great reviews, so I’m looking forward to reviewing it here on the blog in a few weeks! Bug has done a few lessons already and he seems to be doing well.

• Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

Baby O had his two month check-up this week, so we got to see the doctor. We also visited the library for story time and a craft. We will be doing a big shopping trip soon!

• Things I’m working on…

Planning and organizing. It is difficult, but I need to get my budget binder in order and I need to really hammer out some homeschool plans. Over the next few weeks I will be reorganizing the entire house starting with the kids’ room. They have too many toys!

• I’m cooking…

I made garlic spaghetti the other night. Yum, yum, yum!

• I’m grateful for…

My family. I don’t know where I’d be without their help!

• I’m praying for…

My husband and his unit, as always.

• Something I am ogling or have my eye on…

We are going to be doing some crafts to help us decorate the house. I keep thinking about the art supplies I need to buy. I’d also really like to have a Ninja kitchen system. I need some sort of food processor!
