Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday for kids. Because there is so much you can do, it makes a wonderful preschool theme. There are crafts, games, and of course tons of party ideas and ways to spread love and kindness. In today’s post, I’m going to share with you my Valentine’s Day theme preschool activities and lesson plan ideas. I’m so excited to share with you some of these fun ideas!
Valentine’s Day Preschool Lesson Plan
I’m putting together this post using my method for planning preschool lesson plans. I always include a song or poem, literacy activities, fine and gross motor skills which often include math activities, sensory play, arts and crafts, a book list, and snack ideas. I record all of my lesson plans in My Homeschool Preschool Planner to keep track of everything and make it easy peasy!

Valentine’s Day Songs and Poems for Preschool
We always start our day with a song or poem after our morning prayer. I’ve put together three different Valentine’s Day songs that I found on YouTube. They are set to familiar tunes and some incorporate some movement, as well.
