September is such a wonderful month for homeschoolers. The air begins to cool, the leaves start to shift, and we naturally find ourselves leaning into cozy rhythms. After the busyness of back-to-school in August, September gives us space to enjoy the early signs of fall, embrace nature, and create memorable family traditions.
To make things simple, I’ve put together a September Homeschool Calendar with easy, low-prep activities you can sprinkle into your days. These ideas work across ages, so you can invite all of your children to join in. Whether you try one a week or follow along day by day, you’ll bring a little seasonal magic into your homeschool.

- Sept 5: Make homemade applesauce.
- Sept 6: Write or dictate an apple poem.

Apples are such a fun and simple way to kick off the month. You can cover math, science, history, and art just by bringing in this classic fruit.
