One of my little kids’ favorite books is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr.. It is highly requested throughout our entire school year and a great way to teach the letters of the alphabet. This year I have decided to add more preschool themes and activities to our school day, so we are definitely going to try some of these Chicka Chicka Boom Boom activities. In fact, we are going to have a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom theme week right at the beginning of our school year!

Favorite Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Activities

If you’ve been around the blog for any length of time, you know that I follow a system for making my preschool lesson plans. I use this same system for my kindergartners and preschoolers. I have been known to pick a theme and build a lesson plan based on that. These activities would be used in my lesson plans. Let’s choose some fun Chicka Chicka Boom Boom activities!

First, we have to get the book, right? The book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a staple on our homeschool shelves!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Printable Activities

The first thing I did was scour the internet for some fun Chicka Chicka Boom Boom printable and playful learning activities. Here are my top three activities!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Art Activities

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Painting – I absolutely love this process art painting. It’s a great activity and a simple way to let kids express their own creativity.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Sensory Activities

If you’re looking for a sensory activity, try one from the list below!
