Well, we are a week into December and I’ve been promising to show you all my December menu plan after telling y’all all about how to plan frugal meals. My menu plans tend to be very fluid. I usually have a rough idea what I want to cook during a particular week, and I will adjust my menu based on my mood, what we are doing that day, how tired I am, etc. Some days I just throw my hands up and we eat leftovers, sandwiches, and occasionally I will have my husband pick something up. That’s real life y’all. I’m an imperfect homemaker and I’m learning everyday.

So, there you have my tentative plan. I love planning meals. Things always seem to go a little smoother when you have a plan in place. Now remember, I change my meals around to suit what’s going on in our lives on a day to day basis, but I try not to waste any ingredients! What’s on your menu?

My days are similar. I try to plan one crockpot meal a week, but this week I decided to put pasta on our menu in place of a crockpot meal. Tonight I’m hoping to have chicken fajitas and last night was eggs and hashbrowns. Sometimes I ask my husband to grab something on his way home, too. Some days a mama just needs a little extra help in the meal department, after she’s been taking care of the home/kids all day. 🙂
Yum! I love chicken fajitas! Yes, some days mama needs a little extra help!
