My five year old son absolutely loves dinosaurs! If I can turn any learning activity into a dinosaur theme, he is all about it! I decided it would be fun to help him learn the letters of the alphabet with some cute dinosaur worksheets. I wanted to create a dinosaur alphabet printable that would get his attention, help him practice his fine motor skills, and also help him fine-tune his letter recognition skills.

Dinosaur Alphabet Worksheets

I created these dino alphabet educational activities for all of the dino lovers out there. This cute uppercase letter Dinosaur Alphabet book is a fun way for kids to learn dinosaur names A to Z, as well as handwriting practice and children letter identification.

Future paleontologists can use a bingo marker to hunt down the matching capital letters. I did not include lowercase letters in this workbook but they may be in the works for the next edition of our fun printable dinosaur activities!

When I do this activity with my son, I point to the letter of the alphabet on the worksheet, and then we say the letter name…is for…the dinosaur name. For example, I would put to the letter d and and say, “D is for Daspletosaurus.” You’ll definitely want to check out these D is for Dinosaur activities.

What I like about all of the included dinsosaur names is that we can look up those dinsoaurs later and learn more about them together.

Young children will also love the included English alphabets dinosaur poster. It’s so cute and a fun thing for little learners to stick in the front of their binders to practice their ABCs.

We also use this sheet to practice singing our ABC son. It’s so much fun when you’re able to provide your child themed resources, especially when it’s a particular theme they are obsessed with!
