Planning preschool themes and activities is kind of my jam, so I was super excited to put together this fun Easter preschool theme full of activities and ideas to teach your little ones all about the Easter story. Easter Theme Preschool Lesson Plan
If you’re new around here, all of my preschool themes are put together following my method for making preschool lesson plans. I have a very specific way in which I choose activities, and it’s always served me well to have this system. Read on to see how I would put together a preschool lesson plan with an Easter theme.
Easter Songs and Poems for Preschool
All of my preschool lesson plans focus on one song or poem to go with the theme. Each morning during calendar time, we sing the song or recite the poem together. Preschoolers love repetition, so choosing one song and sticking with it for the entire week is a great idea! Here are my top three picks from YouTube:
Easter Color By Number Pages
I do like to add in some worksheets and other activities from time to time. My daughter in particular loves to color, so these Easter color by number pages really come in handy.
