We love incorporating holidays and seasons into our preschool themes and activities. It’s now March, so that means it’s a perfect time for planning St. Patrick’s Day theme activities for preschool! There are so many fun things you can do to help teach your kids about St. Patrick’s Day and to also have a ton of fun while doing it! My kids love dressing up in green and reading books about leprechauns and St. Patrick!
St. Patrick’s Day Preschool Lesson Plan
I’m making this post using my method for planning preschool lesson plans. I have a pretty specific process that includes a song or poem, literacy activities, math activities, sensory play, arts and crafts, a booklist, and snack ideas. I use My Homeschool Preschool planner to keep track of all of my lesson plans and ideas.

St. Patrick’s Day Coloring Sheets for Preschool and Kindergarten
My kids really enjoy doing coloring sheets, so I fill in free time with a few of these St. Patrick’s Day coloring sheets. We really like the color by number sheets, too.
