You can homeschool your child.
If you’ve been contemplating homeschooling, or you’re looking for fresh ideas, you are in the right place. As a mom of seven, I’ve been homeschooling over seven years now. Homeschooling is a lifestyle, and it’s absolutely worth pursuing for your family.
I have collected all of my homeschooling posts here on this page. Whether you’re just getting started, want the down low on curriculum, need fresh ideas for your morning time, want to add some wonder to your studies, or are interested in teaching your kids life skills and handicrafts, you’ll find a wealth of information here.
Morning Time
Morning Time is my favorite time of the homeschool day. The entire family gathers we sing hymns and folk songs, read poetry, look at art, listen to classical pieces of music, and learn about current events. I’m happy to share how Morning Time has evolved for our family through the years.

Charlotte Mason Inspired Homeschooling
I always tell people that I decided to homeschool when I learned about the Charlotte Mason method. That said, I’m not a purist and we mix a lot of different things in our homeschool. I do love sharing about the philosophy and what that looks like in our family.
Living Books
Living books are the backbone of our homeschool. All of our kids’ curriculum is mostly living books. We read together every, single day. Living books are so important in a homeschool and they can really help simplify homeschooling.
